Fr GKMHS has a long history dating back to 1982 when the corner stone for the school was laid on July 1982.The school began in the church with 105 students having 3 divisions. Under the able leadership of Sr. Joy Maria ,the progressed with other staffs . The second building was opensd in 1983 on the present school sight and housed the students until now.
GKM is one of the most illustrious schools of wayanad and its aluminus includes internationally well known and respected figures in the fields of art, literature ,science,sports, medicine,and administration.
